PlumMech Owner - Adrian Boon is a Certifying Plumber, Certifying Drainlayer and a Registered Gasfitter and a current member of Master Plumbers.  
I have a passion for home improvement and renovation completing many personal projects throughout the years and after 35 plus years  in the mining & construction equipment industry it was time for a refresh myself transferring my professionalism, experience and hands-on skills to start a new venture retaining in Plumbing, Gas fitting and Drainlaying. I pride myself on my meticulous workmanship and work ethics and recognition by the local plumbing industry becoming one of  three finalist in the Prestigious Master Plumbers 2025, Wintec - Apprentice of the Year awards in Hamilton.   
 I began my working life in automotive engineering later qualifying  and specialising in heavy plant and machinery working in the mining industry here in NZ and abroad. Within this time  I have held senior leadership roles, including  8 years managing maintenance of the mobile mining fleet for NZ's largest open pit Goldmining project in located in  East Otago and as the North Island Maintenance Manager for Bathurst Resources in the Waikato region.
